My Story

After completing a Marketing Diploma at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2004, Samantha joined a JSE listed recruitment firm and started her career in tech recruitment. In 2006, at the age of 22, Samantha founded her first recruitment agency, IT Source Personnel, specializing in technology recruitment which later grew into Nu Beginnings.

Nu Beginnings delivered tech recruitment services for a wonderful 10 years and then realising her services and offerings needed to evolve.

Passionate about people, culture and recruitment, Samantha set out to build a personalised consultancy focusing on integrating her services into the business, streamlining the processes, attracting the perfect candidates, and creating the ideal company culture as well as growing a successful retention rate.

Meet Samantha

Samantha is incredibly passionate about helping people. Having founded an NGO of communities working for communities, Soul Donations and is a Mental Health Champion for Mental Health in Recruitment. She also founded the very first South African Recruitment Network with 100’s of recruiters connecting globally.

Samantha, a dynamic professional, has enriched her expertise through diverse educational pursuits. Armed with a Human Resource Management qualification from the University of Cape Town, she has further honed her skills with multiple recruitment and training courses. Samantha’s commitment to professional growth is evident in her completion of the Management Development Programme for Employment Services Professionals, sponsored by a SETA Bursary. Holding the title of a certified Individual Staffing Professional with APSO underscores her dedication to excellence in the recruitment field. Currently, she is immersed in expanding her knowledge through courses in Enneagram and Executive coaching. Beyond her individual achievements, Samantha is the visionary founder of Recruiters Unite, South Africa’s inaugural recruitment conference, established by recruiters for recruiters. In addition to her professional pursuits, Samantha is a devoted wife, mother, and Ironman enthusiast, harboring grand aspirations of becoming a Global Leader in the specialized realm of Recruitment.
